| P-Touch stencil tape STe-151 The original Brother STe-151 stencil tape with white lettering on a transparent background (non-adhesive) was specially developed for electrolytic markings. It is equipped with a temperature-sensitive layer containing ink or a special liquid for direct marking of electrically conductive surfaces or metal parts. When printing the stencil, small holes are integrated, which during the subsequent etching process ensure that the electrolyte penetrates the tape. A stamp with marking felt or similar is placed on the tape and pressed into the metal (required electrochemical equipment not available from Brother). Finally, the metal discolors and is permanently marked with a serial number, barcode, or logo.
