How it works
Open our website on your mobile phone or tablet and grant the browser camera access once. The scanner recognizes common codes like EAN/UPC, Code 128, or QR. After scanning, you’ll see the matching item with price, availability, and your conditions. Confirm the quantity, add to the cart, and scan the next item. If there are multiple matches, select the correct one from the list. If nothing is found, you can switch to manual search or report the item for setup.

Scan & Shop speeds up reordering in storage areas, team cabinets, copy rooms, workshops, tea kitchens, and project spaces. Instead of notes or Excel lists, you work with real barcodes on products or shelf labels. This reduces errors, saves time, and makes inventory more predictable.
Integration with your B2B account
Scan & Shop uses your existing rights, assortments, and conditions. Roles and approval workflows remain unchanged. You select cost centers and delivery addresses as usual; for desk or site orders a default cost center can be pre-set. If you use PunchOut, catalog and booking logic remain untouched; Scan & Shop is simply an additional fast capture method.
Technology & Compatibility
Recognition is powered by Scandit directly in the browser. Supported are current mobile browsers like Safari and Chrome on modern iOS and Android devices. Image recognition runs on-device in the browser window; no camera images are stored. Only the scanned code and your selection are captured and transmitted. For reliable recognition, you need sufficient light, a scratch-free surface, and steady distance. For reflective packaging, a slight angle to the light helps.
Privacy & Rights
Camera access is used exclusively for scanning within your current browser session and can be revoked at any time in your device settings. Processing follows our privacy policy under Swiss law.
Limitations you should know
Heavily damaged, tiny, or highly reflective codes may be difficult to scan. Some external EANs reference items we do not carry; in this case the site offers you practical alternatives or manual search. Offline use is not supported; an internet connection is required.
