Halogen lamps must only be operated in suitable luminaires designed (protective shields, grids, etc.) to prevent parts/fragments from escaping in case of lamp breakage and to ensure no ultraviolet radiation is emitted externally during operation. Furthermore, it should be noted that increased heat generation may occur during lamp operation. |
