| Accessories Besides the standard battery operation (4 AAA batteries), you can purchase a separate TI-Nspire battery for the new TI-Nspire with Touchpad and TI-Nspire CAS with Touchpad, which offers you even longer runtime. One charge is enough, and you can work with your TI-Nspire with Touchpad or TI-Nspire CAS with Touchpad for up to 100 hours. For calculators manufactured before April 2014 - with cable! Connect the handheld to your computer via the USB port. Use the charger for the TI-Nspire battery (sold separately). There are three options for powering your handheld: 1) Only with the TI-Nspire battery. 2) The TI-Nspire battery in combination with four normal, non-rechargeable AAA batteries. 3) Only with four non-rechargeable alkaline AAA batteries. Only TI-Nspire, TI-Nspire CAS handhelds and TI-84+ CS E with Touchpad are compatible with the TI-Nspire battery.
