Place the patch at the intended spot. 3. To protect, cover the patch with a thin cloth or baking paper. 4. Iron the patch for about 15-30 seconds while pressing firmly. Turn the textile and repeat the procedure. 5. Let the patch cool for 1 hour, check the corners and iron again if necessary. When cooling, the adhesive of the patch bonds permanently with the fabric. Good to know: Nylon, polyester and Cordura probably melt at high temperatures or the patch cannot be applied.
